On the beach in Praia do Forte




Projeto TAMAR-IBAMA is a national sea turtle conservation and research program in Brazil.  At Praia do Forte they rescue turtle nests and help return
baby turtles to the sea.

They have a small aquarian/outdoor museum that explains their program along with many turtles, sharks, and other sea life.





These turtles get huge!!

But they start off really tiny!
