GeoPig and the TBs started out yesterday’s drive by seeing a big candle in Hartford, Conn. The rest of the day was spent driving. When they got to the hotel, they found that there was a free dinner being served in the lobby which was delicious. After dinner GeoPig introduced the TBs to Munzees. They walked around the parking lot of the nearby mall and captured about 25 of them then spent a relaxing evening watching TV. GeoPig started out this morning with a visit to Dr Doolittle's Roadside Cafe & Creamery to see the T-rex there. Here everyone said a tearful goodbye to your TB and 5 others who felt it was time to move on. We’ve had a wonderful time with your TB, and GeoPig will upload pictures when she gets home.

GeoPig took the TBs to the largest eyeglass monument in the world in front of the old American Optical building which is now the Southbridge Conference Center in Southbridge, Mass. The TBs were able to have a nice walk in the surrounding park and read about how Southbridge was the eye capitol of the world at one time. GeoPig also took the TBs to the Children’s Museum in Hartford, Conn to visit the walk through whale. The TBs were gathering for a picture when they were surprised by the whale spouting water. It was a hot day anyway so they really enjoyed the cool water.

GeoPig took the TBs to the USS Albacore submarine in Portsmouth NH where it is displayed in dry dock. The TBs took a detailed tour in the submarine including education on how to flush the toilet. GeoPig explained that during her Admiral training she was stationed on this sub for a whole summer. She couldn't stay much longer than that because she got tired of being called a canned ham.
