LUMA WAS TEACHER OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER!!!

The first weekend of November was very adventurous
for Luma and me. It started Friday night when Sammy
and Julio stopped by for a surprise visit. We ended up
at Georgie's and hung out with people we haven't seen
in a long time.

Saturday night we went to the Robi Rosa concert with
Kristie and Sammy. Afterwards we met (our former friend,
after this evening) Javier in Old San Juan. We got in a hugh
agrument, met a manic-depressive witch (literally), then
decided to go home. It was then that Luma realized she
didn't have the keys to the car. My car keys and our
apartment keys were conveniently located in the glove
compartment (of the locked car). After searching every-
where for them, we decided to re-trace our steps back to
the car to see if we dropped them somewhere. When we
got back to the car we realized Luma had left the keys in
the car -- with the motor running -- for 3 hours!  It took
2 homeless men, 2 cops, and a hotel valet one hour to get
the car open. And they broke our lock!! And now we
both carry our keys at all times.

Sunday we went to a flower festival in Aibonito with
some friends from school. Since I always take pictures
of water in Puerto Rico -- I decided to take a picture
of the green mountains. Here we are at one of our friend's
friend's house getting ready to go to the festival:

On our way home from the flower festival Luma and I
heard Robi Rosa on the radio giving an interview.
We decided to drive back to San Juan and "stalk" him!
Unfortunately, we were already back in Guayama when
we decided to go back. So we drove the hour back to
San Juan, finally found the radio station... but he was
gone. So we went to hang out with Byron for a while
before driving all the way back to Guayama. We had
an unfortunate experience with the elevator, and...
then we ended up at St. Mick's for a bit.

Luma's brother and sister-in-law came to visit us.
Here we are at El Morro:

Luma, Carrie and I had to share 2 twin beds.
Luma and Carrie thought they could share one
bed (because I got sand in the other bed.)
Here they are "practicing" sharing a bed:

We finally decided to push the beds together.
(They made me clean off the sand.)
